1 - Alice Edward: A strong competitor who shows extremely consistent results. Recently was selected for the national team to compete in New Zealand against the worlds best. She has great skills and is a true competitor. Senior board race earlier this year 2017. Victrix laudorum for u17. Was chosen to represent the South African team in June in Japan and chosen again to represent in New Zealand in November. Victrix lodorum this year, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 & 2010 at SA champs.

2 - Paige Horn: She entered first Ocean Heroes race in 2017 and demonstrated some great endurance and skills. She had some amazing skills in 2019 and achieved her first podium against a tough field. 

3 - Daisy Mowat. The youngster from Durban achieved an incredible result in 2019, showing her incredible resilience in huge conditions at North Beach. Her training at battery beach has paid off showing she can be a new force in the sport. 

4 - Amica De Jager. She displayed resolve to beat the 7 foot east conditions at North Beach after leading to the half way mark in the race. She has the potential to win an Ocean Heroes race and will be on the start line in 2020.
